Material Integrity: What It Means to Us

The phrase "material integrity" gets used often in design circles. But what does it really mean?

To us, it means sourcing and crafting products that are built to last, perform, and age gracefully. It means choosing substrates that resist warping, surfaces that stand up to daily use, and finishes that retain their character over time. It also means honesty,  in how our materials are represented, and how they function in real life.

At Coastline, integrity goes beyond durability. It’s about respecting the work of builders, designers, and installers by giving them products they can rely on. It's about making choices that prioritize long-term value over short-term gain.

Because every good space starts with a solid foundation and the materials that shape it.
